About Us
Clubwear was built by the four of us—Joe, Zed, Jack, and Luke. We all grew up on the small Caribbean island of Barbados. Joe, Zed, and Luke started playing junior golf when they were around 6 or 7. From a young age, they picked up the basics—like taking honors on the tee to respecting the green by not walking on someone’s line. They stuck with it for a few years, but eventually, golf started to feel like an “old person’s sport.” Their parents encouraged them to stick with it, saying it would pay off down the road, but as any kid would, they didn't listen.

In 2018, Joe and Luke realized they missed the game. So, they called Zed and said, "Let’s hit some balls!" It felt like they were kids again, spending hours on the course just having fun. They started playing more often, and with every round, another friend would join—even if they’d never played before. Slowly but surely, their group kept growing, and each new person who joined got hooked.

Then there’s Jack. Luke and Jack are brothers—though you wouldn't really guess it by looking at them! Jack was never a fan of golf growing up. Luke and their dad would go to the course, and Jack wouldn’t even go to sit in the cart. But when Joe, Luke, and Zed started golfing more regularly in 2019, Jack decided to give it a shot. And, of course, he got hooked too. The rest is history.
Golf runs deep in their families. Joe’s brother is a scratch golfer who held a PGA professional license for years. Zed’s grandfather is a well-respected golf coach and player in Barbados. Luke and Jack’s dad has played golf since he was a kid, so much so that he jokes his spine is a little crooked from always carrying his bag with one strap. Golf’s a part of every generation in their family, from their grandfather down to their twin brothers, Lewis and James.
The whole team at our first in-person event in Toronto
Golf has always been about more than just the game—it’s about enjoying the experience, creating memories, and sharing laughs with friends. From the early days of learning the basics to rediscovering the love for the game years later, the journey has been about embracing the simple joy of playing. It's not about perfection or expectations, but about the moments that make golf truly special. Whether it’s your first round or your hundredth, it’s the experience that matters most.
